Proprietors: John and Pippa
This popular pair first met on 2nd May 2007. They were quick to recognise each other's considerable talents and combine forces. Café Splat emerged on the Queenscliff landscape shortly thereafter, on 18th July 2007.
John's 30 years in the building industry coming into its own as his barista skills take him to new levels in the architecture of great coffee-making.
Pippa has always enjoyed cooking for friends and comes from the heralded 'Bond' hospitality family. She returns to the kitchen after a foray in manufacturing.
Both are very much enjoying their time spent working together and the local community and ambience at the café in Queenscliff.
John is 6 foot 2 inches, has blue eyes, and would like to be trim, taut and terrific. He enjoys the gym and arduous mountain-bike excursions. He has great taste, and only plays good music at the café.
Pippa doesn't do anything physical, although she loves to dance [apparently that doesn't count!], she likes Sugar Babes and Justin Timberlake [nah … don't count either] which.......you will never hear at the café.
